What are Apple Pay & Google Pay?
Apple Pay & Google Pay are digital wallets that allow your customers to pay quickly and conveniently. Payment details - for example a stored credit or debit card - are securely saved in the respective wallet and automatically transmitted during checkout.
This payment method uses the standard checkout of Apple Pay & Google Pay - customers select Apple Pay or Google Pay in the payment section of the order form and then complete the purchase as usual. The full order form is displayed.
For you as a vendor, the processing is just as secure as with other card payments: The transaction is processed by your payment provider, and you receive the funds as usual via Digistore24.
Can I enable Apple Pay & Google Pay as a payment method for my customers?
You can enable Apple Pay & Google Pay as a payment method for products you sell through the US reseller Digistore24 Inc.
Which reseller am I selling through?
Click the user icon in the upper right corner, then click Edit account details and scroll to Reseller contracts. There you can see which resellers you have a contract with.
If you sell through multiple resellers, you can check under Product setup > Product configuration in the Approval column to see which reseller each product is approved for.
Tip
You can add another reseller contract at any time.

Tip
If you sell through another reseller, you can alternatively use the payment method Express Checkout - this also includes Apple Pay & Google Pay.

How do I enable Apple Pay & Google Pay as a payment method?
Go to the settings of the respective product and add Apple Pay & Google Pay as a payment method (see Set payment methods).
Note
Apple Pay & Google Pay are available as a payment method for the cart builder order form and the cart builder multi-step order box. If you are still using the classic or responsive order form types, we recommend switching to the cart builder.For Apple Pay & Google Pay to be displayed in the multi-step order box, your website must be whitelisted. Please contact our support team for this.
Which customers will see Apple Pay & Google Pay as a payment option?
Whether a customer sees Apple Pay and/or Google Pay depends on the device and browser they use and is determined by our payment provider. Digistore24 currently has no influence on which options are displayed. However, we are working on improving this experience and plan to offer selection options in the future.
Which payment options do Apple Pay & Google Pay offer?
Apple Pay & Google Pay support one-time payments and recurring payments (subscriptions or installment plans).
Do additional fees apply if customers pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay?
No, beyond the usual margin, there are no additional fees for you as a vendor when customers pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Can additional sales also be paid with Apple Pay & Google Pay?
Yes, customers can also pay for upsells, add-ons, and order bumps with Apple Pay or Google Pay. However, one-click upsells may not always be possible.
Can I use Express Checkout instead of Apple Pay & Google Pay (standard checkout)?
You can use Apple Pay & Google Pay with standard checkout if you sell through the US reseller Digistore24 Inc.
If you sell through another reseller, you can use Express Checkout instead. Express Checkout is a separate payment method and includes, among other options, Apple Pay & Google Pay.
