As a vendor, you can set for each of your products whether a dunning process should be triggered in the event of a payment default. The dunning process is free for you and applies to unauthorized payment defaults by your customers, such as chargebacks and failed subscription and installment payments.
If there is a payment default for a product with an activated dunning process, the dunning process proceeds as follows:

In the event of a chargeback, Digistore24 sends a payment reminder to the customer via email. For subscription and installment payments, Digistore24 attempts to process the debit again for two to three days.

If the renewed debit attempt fails for subscription and installment payments, Digistore24 also sends a payment reminder via email.

If the invoice is not paid by the customer, Digistore24 sends a reminder via email 7, 14, and 21 days after the due date of the defaulted payment.
