The multi-step order box (MSOB) is a variant of the order form that you can integrate into your own sales page. The contents of the MSOB can be divided into clear steps, displayed as tabs. Hence the name multi-step order box.

In the European Union (EU), it is legally required to provide an accessible version of the order form.

Digistore24 automatically provides accessible versions for most order form types. However, this does not apply to the MSOB, as you embed it directly on your own website. In this case, you are responsible for ensuring accessibility.

Each product must have a sales page. Usually, the sales page has a buy button that leads to the default order form or the order form. This redirection from the sales page to the order form is an additional step in your sales funnel. If you want to shorten your funnel and save your prospects this step, you can embed the order form directly into your provided sales page using the MSOB.

When prospects arrive at your sales page, they will see the MSOB (depending on where you place it) and can immediately start entering their buyer information. To avoid overwhelming the sales page, you can divide the MSOB into multiple tabs. Prospects then go through all fields and tabs step by step until they reach the buy button and can complete the purchase.

Settings for the default order form will be applied to the assigned MSOB. Therefore, for newly created products, set up the default order form before creating or assigning an MSOB. See set up default order form for more information.
