You can disable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Digistore24 account. Logging into your Digistore24 account will then only be done using your Digistore24 password.

Attention

We strongly advise against disabling 2FA. This is because it is becoming increasingly easy for unauthorized people to get hold of passwords. 2FA is the most effective way to protect your account and sensitive data.

Proceed as follows:

1. Log into your Digistore24 account and go to Account > Details.
2. Disable 2FA under Account information in the Two-factor authentication field:
   • Click on Change for Primary if you have only set up a 2FA account.
   • Click on Change for Primary if you have also set up a backup account and want to disable both accounts.
   • Click on Change for Backup if you have set up backup access and want to disable this only.
3. Select the Disable two-factor authentication option.
4. Scroll to the bottom and enter your Digistore24 password in the Current password field.
5. Click on Next. The deactivation will take place immediately and confirmation thereof will be displayed.
