If you are a vendor using multiple Digistore24 accounts, you can set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on one device and log into all your accounts using that one device. This way, you don't have to set up separate 2FA access for each of your accounts.

Requirements

• You have already set up 2FA for one of your accounts, e.g. using the Digistore24 app on your phone.
• You have granted account access to your other accounts in the account for which you have set up 2FA.

Step 1: Share 2FA device with other accounts

1. Log into the Digistore24 account for which you have set up the 2FA device.
2. Go to Settings > Account access in the vendor view. The list of Digistore24 accounts that can access this account will be displayed.
3. Click on the pencil icon for a selected account to edit it. The input form will be displayed.
4. Make sure that Full access or Master account is selected in the Permission field under Set up account access.
5. Click on Yes in the May use my 2FA device field.

   Note

   This field is only displayed if one of the permissions mentioned in the previous step is selected.

6. Click on OK to confirm that only you will be using the accessing account.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Save.
8. Repeat this step for all the Digistore24 accounts for which you want to use the 2FA device.

Step 2: Set up 2FA device in other accounts

1. Log into the Digistore24 account for which you want to set up the 2FA device.
2. Go to Account > Details.
3. Click on Set up now in the 2-factor authentication field under Account information or click on Change for Primary.

   Note

   You can only set up the 2FA device as a primary device, not as a backup.

4. Select the option Device from: Digistore24 ID.

   Note

   You will see the Digistore24 ID of the account for which you have already set up 2FA.

5. Scroll to the bottom and enter your Digistore24 password in the Current password field.
6. Click on Continue. The Password of Digistore24 ID entry form will be displayed.
7. Enter the password of the Digistore24 account for which you have already set up 2FA.
8. Click on Complete setup.
9. Repeat this step for all Digistore24 accounts for which you want to use the 2FA device.
