You can set up several payout accounts and use them at the same time. For example, pay out different currencies to different bank accounts, or use a different payout method for each currency.
Do you need this?
For most people, one payout account is enough — a single account can receive every currency, and Digistore24 converts them into the payout currency you choose. Set up more than one only if you want to route different currencies to different bank accounts or methods. You can have only one active account per currency (see Set method and currency).
When multiple accounts help
Multiple payout accounts are useful when you want to split your earnings — for example, to:
- pay out different currencies to different bank accounts, or with different methods;
- convert different currencies into different payout currencies;
- pay out different currencies on different dates.
If you sell through more than one reseller, you can also route each reseller's sales to its own account.
Add another payout account
Here's how to set up an additional payout account:
- In the vendor or affiliate view, go to Settings > Payout account.
- On an existing payout account, enter your Digistore24 password in the Current password field.
- Scroll to the end of that account and click New payout account.
- Confirm. The page reloads and a new, empty payout account appears.
- Scroll to the new account and fill in its details.
- Scroll to the end of the new account and click Save.
Your additional payout account is now set up. Filling it in works exactly like your first account (see how to set up a payout account as a vendor or as an affiliate).
Overlapping accounts
If two of your accounts overlap — for example, both are set to receive EUR sales — the account you created first receives those sales.
