Digistore24 is a reseller platform. To enable you to sell globally, Digistore24 offers various resellers. This article explains the potential costs you may incur when selling via the Digistore24 reseller MSLW Limited.

Registration and basic use of Digistore24 are free of charge. This means you take no risks and can explore our service at your convenience.

Regular costs for sales

For each sale you make via Digistore24, Digistore24 receives a share from you (referred to as a “margin”).

Possible additional costs for sales

Additional costs may arise under certain circumstances, such as:

• Refunds: Customers return the product and receive a refund.
• Chargebacks: Customers initiate a chargeback through their bank for the amount already paid.

Note

For chargebacks on payments made via PayPal or credit card, Digistore24 offers "chargeback prevention" in cooperation with partners Ethoca and Verifi. If a customer instructs their bank to issue a chargeback, we are notified and can arrange a refund within 72 hours. This reduces the cost to you to €40.

Costs for payouts

When Digistore24 transfers your earnings to you, this is called a payout. Depending on the payout method you set up in your payout account, different payout fees may apply.

Note

The payout threshold for international transfers is €/$/£250. To process an international payout, your earnings must cover at least €/$/£250 + the €40 international transfer fee. If your earnings are below this, your funds will remain in your Digistore24 account until you reach the threshold with further sales.

Tip

To save on payout fees, we recommend the following steps:

• Reduce the number of payout dates. Instead of four transfers per month, limit payouts to once per month.
• Increase the payout amounts. If your earnings regularly exceed the payout threshold of €/$/£250, consider raising the payout amount to €/$/£500.

You can adjust these settings in your payout account settings.

Fees for the Download Vault

Digistore24 offers a unique service with the download vault, where your customers can securely and virus-free download your files. The service handles technical issues and reduces the risk of digital file distribution. Use of the Download Vault is optional.

To cover costs, Digistore24 charges €0.25 for each gigabyte used per purchase. Fees are only charged once per customer per purchase, and additional downloads by the same customer, as well as uploads, are free of charge.
