Here you can find information as a vendor about the conversion cockpit statistics. If you want information about upsell flow, split test, etc., in the conversion cockpit, please check out this article.
Introduction
The Conversion Cockpit is your conversion optimization tool.
Among other things, you can optimize your sales funnel with detailed statistics via the conversion cockpit. As of September 24th (launch of the conversion cockpit), we have completely overhauled and improved our entire tracking system. This means you can expect new, interesting, and helpful data, as well as entirely accurate and precisely measured statistics. Since we are using new tracking and also providing new metrics, there may be discrepancies in the historical data of your sales processes (i.e., those from before 09/24/2019). To ensure that the data documented and evaluated for you by the conversion cockpit is indeed correct, the so-called funnel entry should always be processed via Digistore24.
What is the “funnel entry”?
The funnel entry is the beginning of the sales process. Typically, every sales process starts with a prospect opening your sales page via URL.
You can direct the visitor straight to the sales page. However, if Digistore24 is to count the sales page visitors, you should either embed a promocode on your sales page or use the promolink. This way, Digistore24 will automatically count the sales page visitors.

Conversion Cockpit Statistics
Overall Statistics & Metrics
The overall statistics refer to your entire funnel, i.e., your main product
(= initial product) as well as all set upsells.
You can find the overall statistics in the top right corner of the conversion cockpit.
Metrics
-
Visitors
All visitors of your sales funnel who...
- ... have accessed your initial product via the promo link or have been recognized as visitors via the promo pixel on the sales page (more about this here).
- ... have seen your upsell product via the upsell flow you set in the conversion cockpit.
Note
Tracking is also possible without a promolink or promocode.
-
Purchases
All cumulative sales within your sales funnel, i.e., main product + upsells.
-
Conversion Rate
Shows the percentage of your total visitors (see 1.) who made a purchase.
-
Earnings
Shows the total earnings you achieved through your sales funnel. Thus, all revenues of your main product + upsells are counted.
Attention
All earnings are assigned to the order date, not the payment receipt date.
-
Earnings per Visitor
Shows how much, theoretically, a single visitor is worth, regardless of whether they made a purchase or not. This is calculated by dividing the earnings by the number of visitors.
Conversion Rate Overview
For each product you set in your sales process, we document the percentage of your visitors who buy the product and how many do not.
This rate is displayed, among other things, with arrows originating from the product to which they refer:
- The green arrows indicate how many visitors purchased the product (from which the arrow originates).
- The red arrows indicate how many visitors did not purchase the product (from which the arrow originates).
This way, you always have a good overview of which products appear more attractive to your customers and are bought more often, and you can optimize your funnel accordingly.
Product Statistics & Metrics
The product statistics show how the individual steps of your sales funnel perform.
For each product you have added to your funnel, you will find the corresponding product statistics in the respective window.
For upsells: The statistics do not refer to the upsell products but to the upsell positions.
This means that the statistics are not reset even if you exchange a product at an upsell position. This way, we prevent the use of product split tests from distorting the funnel statistics.
Metrics

Detailed and Split Test Statistics & Metrics
For each product, there are detailed statistics that partially overlap with your product statistics. However, they provide you with a detailed insight into the progress of your conversion rate and show you how trustworthy your product appears to customers.
If you have already created split tests in the conversion cockpit, you will also see your split test statistics here. For each split test, you will find matching traffic and additional conversion rate statistics.
To view the detailed and split test statistics, click on "Statistics" for the respective product.
Metrics
The values you find here are almost identical to the product statistics.
-

If you have not set a split test with multiple variants, this value is always 100%. If you have set a split test, this value shows the automatic traffic distribution of your visitors to the different product/order form/sales page variants you have set.
-
Visitors
If you have not created an order form split test, this value shows how many customers/prospects reached the sales page/upsell page of this product via the product's promolink or were recognized as visitors via the promo pixel on the sales page. If you have created an order form split test, this value shows how many customers/prospects visited the order form for this product.

Frequently Asked Questions
I see more buyers than visitors for my initial product. Why?
We can only identify visitors as such if they enter your sales process via your promolink or are recognized as visitors via the promo pixel on your sales page.
If your customers enter your sales process, for example, only via your regular sales page URL, you will consequently have more buyers than actual visitors.
My statistics are incorrect/do not match my information. Why?
There can be four reasons for this:
- It is very important that you use promolinks to refer to your initial product or embed a promo pixel on your sales page. Otherwise, we cannot collect any information about the visitor data of your initial product or document and evaluate it for you.
- The statistics are always displayed in your time zone. The time zone is automatically detected by the browser you used to open the conversion cockpit. Therefore, it may happen that you see different data for the period you selected in different time zones.
- You sold in multiple currencies. By default, only the earnings in your local currency are displayed. To deactivate this, click on Filter in the top left corner and then on the checkbox next to Sum earnings of all currencies. This way, all earnings generated from other currencies will be included at the daily exchange rate.
I have sold add-ons/cart products. Where will my earnings be displayed?
The earnings from your add-ons/cart products are assigned to your main product.
I only see earnings paid in my local currency, although I also generated earnings in other currencies. Why?
Since the earnings in other currencies change daily depending on the exchange rate and this can distort your statistics, we have set it by default to only show you the earnings in your local currency.
However, you can easily deactivate this: click on Filter in the top left corner and then on the checkbox next to Sum earnings of all currencies. This way, all earnings generated in other currencies will be included at the daily exchange rate.
