Products offered through Digistore24 are sold via an order form. Each product has its own order form.
As a reseller, Digistore24 is the seller of your products. Products listed on Digistore24 can therefore only be purchased through Digistore24 order forms. On the order form, prospective buyers check the product details, enter their buyer information, and confirm the purchase by clicking the Buy Button.
There are three types of order forms: Standard Order Form, Order Form, and Multi-Step Order Box.
Default order form
Each product must have an order form. Therefore, when creating a product, a standard order form in the predefined Digistore24 design is automatically generated. The standard order form is part of the product and cannot be used for other products.
The standard order form is displayed as its own page in the sales funnel.

If the simple design of the standard order form is not enough for you and you want more design options, or if you want to use the same order form for multiple products, you can create a custom order form. You can design it according to your needs and assign it to multiple products. The custom order form replaces the standard order form for all assigned products.
The custom order form is displayed as its own page in the sales funnel.

Multi-step order box
The Multi-Step Order Box (MSOB) is a variant of the order form that you can integrate into your own sales page. You can divide the contents of the MSOB into clear steps, displayed as tabs.
The Multi-Step Order Box is displayed as an iframe on a sales page provided by you.

Order process
Customers can purchase one or more products in a single order process via an order form. All products purchased in the same order process are listed together on one invoice.
The order form includes at least the following elements:
-
a list of the individual products and add-ons you offer that the customer wants to purchase in one order process, with individual prices and total sum
-
Fields for entering buyer and payment details
-
a selection of the payment methods and payment plans you accept
-
Legal notices provided by Digistore24
-
a Buy button
Sales process, conversion, upsells
The order form is the last step before purchase. After that, only the order confirmation page follows. After prospective buyers come to the product sales page via online advertising and decide to purchase, they are taken to the order form. Here they check the order and complete the purchase - if everything is satisfactory. The transition from prospective buyer to buyer is the conversion.
After completing an initial sales process, additional downstream sales processes can occur as upsells. Each upsell is processed through its own order form.
Special role of the order form
The order form is crucial for conversion. However, the order form often does not receive the necessary attention. Since most of the persuasion work for the sale happens beforehand, efforts to improve conversion often focus on earlier stages, such as online marketing, the sales page, or even the product itself. However, if prospective buyers make it to the order form, the sales process has worked. Whether the purchase then takes place is decided on the order form. Therefore, optimizing the order form can significantly contribute to increasing conversions.
Requirements
The sales process sparks the interest of potential buyers and convinces them of the benefits, added value, and quality of the product. When opening the order form, prospective buyers know what they want to buy, why they need it, and how much it should cost. The purchase as the final step requires a lot of trust from them, as the order form is an “intimate space” where they enter very personal data to complete the purchase. To prevent them from aborting the process, the order form should build trust and have these characteristics:
Transparency
The order form displays all important information that the prospective buyer should know before making the purchase. Above all, it provides complete details about the products to be purchased, the costs incurred, and any further obligations (e.g., subscription duration and follow-up payments).
Agreement
The order form clearly and understandably shows the prospective buyer what conditions they are agreeing to by making the purchase. For example, whether it is a subscription and what return policies apply, especially the 0-day return policy.
Legal claim
The order form includes all legal information that the prospective buyer should know, in the form of the general terms and conditions (GTC) provided by Digistore24 and the information on the order form itself. Of particular interest to the customer are the legal conditions under which they can withdraw from the contract. As a vendor, you can set your own return policies for each product, which must be indicated on the order form.
