Components are elements of order forms and multi-step order boxes (MSOB) that allow you to provide content and functionality. Components are individual objects that you can drag and drop into the order form or MSOB. Each component serves a specific purpose and has individual settings.

Mandatory components

Due to the reseller model, Digistore24 is the actual sales partner of product buyers (end customers). Therefore, the order form provided by Digistore24 must include certain mandatory components to be legally compliant and functional.

• Mandatory components can only be included once in the order form.

• The order form can only be saved if all mandatory components are included. If mandatory components are missing, a warning is displayed along with a sidebar listing all missing mandatory components. Drag the missing mandatory components from here into the order form.

• The templates include all mandatory components.

Set up a component

• The component is fully bordered.

• Click the plus icon to add more components. The sidebar with all components will be displayed. Already included mandatory components will be grayed out as they can only be included once in the order form. Drag and drop a desired component to the desired location.

• Hold and drag the cross icon to move the component.

• Click the copy icon to create a copy of the component directly below it in the same column. Copying is not possible if the component can only be included once in the order form. The icon will be grayed out in such cases.

• Click the gear icon to make settings. Each component has individual settings.

Components

For some components, the name in the component list differs from the name in the order form.

Order form

• Address^mandatory

  Add address fields for the buyer's shipping address. This includes a checkbox that allows the buyer to specify a different billing address. You can test the checkbox in the preview.

• Required confirmations^mandatory

  If, for example, a waiver of the statutory return policy is set for your digital download product, the buyer must actively agree to this waiver at the time of purchase. A checkbox is displayed for this purpose, which the buyer must activate to indicate their consent. In such a case, the purchase is not possible without consent.

• Order summary^mandatory

  Add a total cost summary of the order. This is useful, for example, below the product list.

• Payment options^mandatory

  Add a selection of payment options and fields for payment data. The component displays all payment options when editing. However, the buyer will only see the payment options you have set for the product in the order form.

• Buy button^mandatory

  Add a button that says "buy now" and through which the purchase is made.

• Product list^mandatory

  Add an overview of all products to be purchased, including their quantities and individual prices.

• Legal notices^mandatory

  This section contains all legal information, contact details, and general terms and conditions of Digistore24 as the legal contract partner of the buyer.

• Payment plan^mandatory

  Add the list of your payment plans. All set payment plans with automatically calculated cost differences will be displayed. This allows the buyer to see the best offer for them.

• Additional input fields^mandatory

  If you have added additional input fields to your product, you can display them with this component.

• Guarantee seal

  Add a seal for guaranteed return policy to strengthen the trust of your buyers.

• Voucher input

  If you have created vouchers for the product, buyers can enter them during the purchase using this component.

• Header image

  Add a background image for the header of your page. You can set a different image for each application (desktop, tablet, mobile).

• Order bump

  Add an order bump.

• Security seal

  Add a seal for secure payments to strengthen the trust of your buyers.

• Language selection

  If you have enabled multilingualism, the buyer can use this component to select the display language of the order form.

• Currency selection

  Add a selection field that allows the buyer to choose the currency for the purchase if you offer multiple currencies.

Text

Use text components to add custom texts that you can style elaborately. For example, you can provide descriptions, explanations, and additional information. Use your global branding to style the texts consistently.

  Add a bullet list for your custom texts. Choose a symbol from a large number of icons (symbols).

• Image list

  Add a bullet list for your custom texts. Choose an image as a bullet symbol that you have uploaded yourself.

Media

• Audio player

  Allow your audio file to be played directly on the order form.

  Add a simple image.

• Image carousel

  Add up to three images in one field that can be switched automatically or manually.

• Pop-up image

  Add an image that is displayed in its own window and original size when clicked. For example, you can add product images in a space-saving way.

• Video

  Add a YouTube video that can be played directly on the order form.

• Pop-up video

  Add an image and link it to a YouTube video. When the image is clicked, the video is displayed and played in its own window. This way, you can embed the video in the order form in a space-saving way and still ensure that it is displayed in an appealing size when played.

Forms

• Button

  Add a button that you can link to a URL (web address) and style elaborately to encourage buyers to click on it.

Content

• Arrow

  Add an arrow with directional variants and custom text. For example, you can write a description text and use the arrow to point to a button.

• FAQ

  List frequently asked questions (FAQs) about your products and processes and answer them for your buyers. For example, "When will I receive my product? - Usually 2-3 business days after purchase." This builds trust, reduces inquiries, and promotes your sales.

• Icon

  Add a symbol (icon) in image size that you can link to a URL (web address). You can use symbols instead of images. Many symbols and their meanings are familiar to your buyers from common messenger apps.

• Image with text

  Add an image with a custom text field next to it. For example, you can add product images with descriptions.

• Price list

  List up to ten pricing models with their respective features. This is useful if you offer multiple pricing models and want to compare the prices and respective benefits side by side. Since the buyer is already on the order form for a product, you can use this list to highlight the benefits of the currently selected product compared to others.

• Progress bar

  Add a colored bar to show the current progress in the sales process. If you use Digibiz24 to design your sales pages, you can also add progress bars to your sales pages via the page builder to display a seamless transition to the order form.

• HTML / CSS

  Add a field invisible to buyers where you can enter your own HTML and CSS code.

Miscellaneous

• Countdown

  Add a countdown. This counts down the time you specify and performs an action you specify when the time expires. For example, you can use the countdown to show or hide information.

• Divider

  Add a line to separate content.

• Social share

  Add buttons for sharing on social media.

• Testimonial

  A testimonial is a recommendation from customers who have already purchased your product. For example, add email quotes from satisfied customers. This builds trust in your products.
