You have created a product and want to customize the default order form.
Note
The settings made here also apply to order forms that you assign to the product.
This is how you set up the default order form:

In the vendor view, go to account > products.

Click the pencil icon for an existing product.

Go to the order form tab.

Click on the placeholder or selected image at product image to change it. Note the mentioned restrictions for allowed images.

Enter a precise description of the product at product description for order form that will be displayed on the order form.
Warning
A precise product description can reduce returns.

Enter a text at product description for order confirmation page that will be displayed on the order confirmation page. If you do not specify a text, the product description from the order form will be displayed instead.
Note
If you have stored a thank you page in the product, it will replace the order confirmation page.

Check if an order form is assigned at order form.

You can select an order form that you have previously created.

If yes, the assigned order form will be used for this product.

You can select the top entry (blank line) in the drop-down list to use the default order form.

You can select a social proof at social proof bubble that you have previously created. It will be displayed on the default order form or the assigned order form.

You can specify whether a newsletter will be offered at show checkbox for newsletter opt-in. See offer a newsletter on the order form.

You can specify whether the customer should always provide their full address at always ask for address.
Note
For digital products, providing a full address is usually not necessary. On the other hand, it is necessary if you offer an upsell for a shipping product after the sales process of this product and want to enable a one-click upsell. In that case, the buyer data from the initial purchase order form will be used.

Select whether the field for entering a discount code should be hidden at hide coupon entry. See give a discount.

Make further settings for the buyer's address, phone number, and salutation.

Select whether the product name should be displayed on the buyer's bank statement when debited by Digistore24 at show product name on bank statement.
Note
Depending on the type of product, it may be advisable to be discreet to avoid embarrassing the buyer. On the other hand, displaying a product name on the bank statement can prevent misunderstandings on the part of the buyer and inquiries to support.

Specify whether the default order form or assigned order form should be indexed by search engines such as Google at allow search engines to list sales form.
Note
Depending on the funnel structure and target group, it may be advisable for potential buyers to first reach your sales page to be warmed up for the purchase. In that case, you may not want the order form to be found directly. On the other hand, the order form should be found by search engines if you use a well-designed order form and/or if you use the order form as the sales page.
