You can add your products to the Digistore24 marketplace, which allows affiliates to promote your products. To do this, you need to create a marketplace entry.

Note

Every marketplace entry is checked by Digistore24 and only approved and published once it has been reviewed successfully. This way, we ensure the quality and seriousness of our marketplace entries.

Therefore, please note the criteria for marketplace entries.

How to add a product to the marketplace:

1. Log into your Digistore24 account.
2. Go to the vendor view and select Marketplace > Edit my offers for affiliates.
3. Click on Create marketplace entry.
4. Select a Product category.
5. You can select one or two additional product categories in the Additional product categories field.

   Tip

   If your product falls into multiple product categories, you can select them here. This will display the product to affiliates when they filter for product categories in the marketplace.

   Note

   In the Analytics, only the product category you selected in the Product category field will be taken into account.

6. Enter a Headline. The text will be displayed to affiliates in the marketplace.
7. Enter a Description. The text will be displayed to affiliates in the marketplace. Describe in detail to affiliates why your product is worth promoting.
8. You can click on the image icon to insert a product image:
   • Select an image that has already been uploaded.
   • Click on the Upload image button to upload a new image.

   Tip

   Use the product image to make your marketplace entry visually appealing and show affiliates what the product is.

9. Select a product for which you are creating the marketplace entry.

   Attention

   The same product can only be listed on the marketplace once. For example, if multiple vendors have a sales license for a product, only one vendor can create a marketplace entry for the product.

   This avoids duplicate entries in the marketplace.

10. If you sell variants (almost identical/related products) of the previously selected product, then select the products in the similar products field.

    Attention

    Use the similar products field to avoid duplicate entries in the marketplace.

    Examples of duplicate entries:

    • Several separate marketplace entries for variants of a product or almost identical products, e.g., for a subscription as a Basic, Plus, or Premium package
    • Several separate marketplace entries for products of a product family, e.g., related products offered together on the same sales page

    Duplicate entries will not be approved. The reason for this is that affiliates should have access to a product range on the marketplace that is as appealing and varied as possible. You can find out more about this here.

    Instead, select variants (almost identical/related products) in the similar products field. This combines the products into one marketplace entry, which also helps to increase its ranking power.

11. You can enter the link to your affiliate support page.

    Note

    On the affiliate support page, you provide information that affiliates can use to promote your products.

12. Select whether you want to enter sales price manually.

    Note

    If you have multiple payment plans for your products, the marketplace will automatically display an average price.

    Select Yes in the enter sales price manually field if you want to enter the displayed sales price yourself.

13. If you selected Yes in the Enter sales price manually field, then you also need to enter a price in the Price to display field.
14. Select the Language for the marketplace entry.
15. Select whether the marketplace entry should be published after approval in the Publish field.
16. You can enter one or more email addresses in the Notify in case of errors field. If the marketplace entry is automatically deactivated due to errors, e.g. because the Digistore24 order form is no longer linked, you will be notified via these email addresses.
17. Click on Save.

    The marketplace entry will now be created.

18. Click on Preview.

    You will now see the marketplace entry from an affiliate's perspective.

19. Select whether you want to request approval for the marketplace entry in the Approval status field.
20. Click on Save.

    If you selected Request approval now in the Approval status field, the marketplace entry will be submitted for approval.
