As a vendor, you use the invitation link to invite both registered and non-registered affiliates to enter into an automatically approved affiliate partnership with you and your selected products on Digistore24. The benefit of the invitation link is that you can provide several products for your automatically approved partnership.

You integrate the invitation link, e.g.

• in your email campaign or on your affiliate support page when recruiting affiliates for your products.
• on your social media pages if you want to make affiliates aware of new products and enable them to enter into an automatically approved partnership.

Important

The invitation link is not a promolink. Affiliates can only use the link to enter into an automatically approved affiliate partnership with you. Your affiliates can find the promolink for the products from the invitation link under Account > Partnerships > Magnifying Glass Icon.

Process Overview: Affiliate Clicks on Invitation Link

1. If the affiliate clicks on the invitation link, they will be redirected to the Digistore24 registration page.
2. This is where they register if they don't already have a Digistore24 account.
3. If they already have an existing account, they simply log in.
4. The affiliate partnership will be created as soon as the registration process is complete.
5. You can view your affiliate partnerships under Account > Affiliates.

Attention

If you have disabled the "Automatically accept affiliations" feature in your product settings, only one partnership request will be stored in the system. You must approve this manually under Account > Affiliates. Otherwise, no partnerships will be formed.  

Tip

Below the invitation link field, you will also find the field protected invitation link. You only use this if you have deactivated the option "Automatically accept affiliations" for one or more products. Affiliates who sign up via this link will automatically accept the partnership – no matter what setting you have set.  

Step-by-Step Guide: Create Invitation Link

Find out how to create an invitation link:

1. In the vendor view, go to Account > Products.
2. Click on the pencil icon in the row of the desired product.
3. Select the links tab.
4. Scroll to the invite affiliates section.
5. Tick at least one product for which you want to create an automatically approved partnership with your potential affiliates. Note: Partnerships are only possible for approved products.

   All selected products will be integrated into the invitation link, and the partnership will be automatically established upon registration for all the approved products.

6. Copy the link and send it to your affiliates.

   Note

   If you want to send a protected invitation link, proceed as described in steps 4 and 5 and then click on Recreate protected invitation link. Copy the protected link you just created and send it to your affiliates.
