Instead of creating your own affiliate support page on your website, you can use the advertising media feature to support your affiliates and provide promotional materials directly through Digistore24.

The advertising media area initially consists of a main page with a headline, an info video and/or info text, as well as an overview of the promotional materials you have made available for all your products. On this main page, you can provide general information about promoting with your advertising materials.

By clicking on one of the advertising media buttons (e.g., "Links Product 1"), your affiliate finally gets to an advertising media subpage. This consists of a headline, an info video and/or info text, as well as the advertising media itself (e.g., advertising link, image of the banner, or email text of the email campaign). Here you can see an example of a subpage of the advertising media "Links".

Step 1: Create Main Page

1. In the Vendor view, go to Marketplace > Advertising Media.
2. Click on the Set up affiliate area button.
3. Select between German and English as the language and then click Ok.
4. Now you can adjust various settings:
   1. Product ID: If you use the placeholder [PARTNER_LINK] in the info text below, an advertising link will be set for the product selected here. Don't be confused: As described above, the main page is created for all products together and not just for the product you specify here.
   2. Active: Here you can activate and deactivate the advertising media feature altogether.
   3. Title: Here you enter the headline of the main page.
   4. Info video for the affiliates: Here you enter the URL of your info video.
   5. Info text for the affiliates: Here you can insert an info text. By clicking on the question mark, the various placeholders that you can use will be displayed.
5. Finally, click Save.

Now you have successfully set up the main page of your advertising media feature! You create the actual advertising media in the following way:

Step 2: Create Advertising Media/Subpages

1. In the Vendor view, go to Marketplace > Advertising Media.
2. Click on the Add advertising media button.
3. Select the type of advertising media (links, email campaign, banner, blog article, or social media messages) and then click Ok.
4. Now you can adjust various settings:
   1. Product ID: Here you enter the product to which the currently selected advertising media refers.
   2. Target URL: Enter here the URL for which you want to place a link if you set a link with the placeholder [PARTNER_LINK] in the info text of the subpage or in the advertising media itself.
      Please note: This input field does not exist for the advertising media "Links".
   3. Active: Here you can activate and deactivate the advertising media feature.
   4. Language: Select a language here.
   5. Title of the advertising media list: Enter here the headline of the subpage.
   6. Info video for the affiliates: Here you can enter the URL of your specific advertising media info video.
   7. Info text for the affiliates: Here you can insert a specific advertising media info text. By clicking on the question mark, the various placeholders that you can use will be displayed.
5. Finally, click on Apply.

You have now successfully created advertising media/a subpage; however, depending on the type of advertising media, you still have to fill it with content.

• Advertising media links: Enter a target URL and a description.
• Advertising media email campaign: Insert the text of your email campaign here.
• Advertising media banner: Enter a slogan and the image URL of your banner.
• Advertising media blog article: Enter a headline, video code or URL, and the text of your blog article here.
• Advertising media social media message: Enter your message here.

On the subpages of the advertising media, [PARTNER_LINK] serves as a placeholder for the affiliate link that is derived from your specified target URL. This way, the affiliate can copy and paste the entire text without having to replace the links.

At the end, don't forget to click on Save. By clicking on Preview, you will see what your main page and subpage will look like for your affiliate.
