You can add your products to the Digistore24 marketplace so that affiliates can promote them. To do this, you create a marketplace entry.

Note

Every marketplace entry is reviewed by Digistore24 and will only be approved and published after a successful review. This ensures the quality and credibility of marketplace entries.

Please also note the criteria for marketplace entries.

How to add a product to the marketplace:

Create a marketplace entry

1. Log into your Digistore24 account.
2. Go to the Vendor view and select Affiliates & partners > Marketplace.
3. Click Create marketplace entry.

Select product categories

1. Select a Product category.

2. Optional: In the Additional product categories field, select one or two additional categories.

   Tip

   If your product fits multiple categories, select them here. This helps your product appear when affiliates filter by categories in the marketplace.

   Note

   In Analytics, only the category you selected in the Product category field is taken into account.

Enter product details for affiliates

Headline and description are displayed to affiliates in the marketplace.

1. Enter a Headline.
2. Enter a Description that explains why your product is worth promoting.

3. Optional: Add a Product image by clicking the image icon.

   • Select an image that has already been uploaded.
   • Click Upload image to upload a new image.

   Tip

   Use a product image to make your marketplace entry more visually appealing and help affiliates quickly understand what your product is.

Define products

1. Select a Product for which you are creating the marketplace entry.

   Attention

   The same product can only be listed on the marketplace once. This also applies if multiple vendors have a sales license for the same product.

   This avoids duplicate entries in the marketplace.

2. If you sell variants or very similar/related products, select them in the Similar products field.

   Attention

   Use Similar products to avoid duplicate entries in the marketplace, e.g.:

   • Several separate entries for product/package variants (Basic/Plus/Premium)
   • Several separate entries for products from the same product family offered together on the same sales page

   Duplicate entries will not be approved. The reason is to keep the marketplace product range as appealing and varied as possible for affiliates. Learn more here.

   Select the related products here instead. This groups them into one marketplace entry and combines their KPIs, which can also help improve the entry's ranking power.

3. Optional: In the Additional affiliation products field, select the products that affiliates are allowed to promote in addition to the Product.

Note

As soon as an affiliate requests a promo link for the product selected in the Product field and the request is approved (automatically or manually), the selected additional products will be automatically enabled for that affiliate as well.

Similar products vs. Additional affiliation products

• Similar products: Use this for variants/closely related products to group them in one marketplace entry and combine their KPIs.
• Additional affiliation products: Use this to automatically enable additional products for affiliates once their promo link request for the main Product is approved. This does not combine KPIs.

Adjust further settings

1. Optional: Enter the link to your Affiliate support page.

   Note

   On the affiliate support page, you provide information affiliates can use to promote your products. You can find additional ways to support affiliates here.

2. Optional: If you want to display a specific sales price, select Yes in Enter sales price manually.

   Note

   If you have multiple payment plans, the marketplace will otherwise display an average price automatically.

3. If you selected Yes in Enter sales price manually, enter the price in Price to display.
4. Select the Language for the marketplace entry.
5. In the Publish field, select whether the marketplace entry should be published after approval.
6. Optional: In Notify in case of errors, enter one or more email addresses. If the marketplace entry is automatically deactivated due to errors (e.g., because the Digistore24 order form is no longer linked), you will be notified via these email addresses.

Finish and request approval

1. Click Save.

   Note

   Optional: Click Save and preview to view the marketplace entry from an affiliate’s perspective.

   The marketplace entry will be created. You can now edit the Approval status field.

2. In the Approval status field, select whether you want to request approval for the marketplace entry.

3. Click Save.

   If you selected Request approval now in the field Approval status, the marketplace entry will be submitted for approval.
