The buy button (also purchase button) is a button on the Digistore24 order form. When a customer clicks on the buy button, a legally binding purchase contract is concluded between the customer and the Digistore24 reseller through which the sale is made.

In the European Union (EU), legal criteria (legal criteria) apply to buy buttons.

Private purchases in the EU

If the EU legal criteria for buy buttons apply, the buy button will be displayed differently depending on the order form used and/or the settings you have made.

Purchase in two steps with pop-up

The order form will display the button complete order if the appropriate setting (As pop-up if legally necessary) is selected. This is not a buy button. When the customer clicks on it, a pop-up appears showing the buy button and an order summary. The purchase is made via the pop-up.

Purchase in one step

The order form will display the buy button with an order summary if the appropriate setting (at the buy button if legally required) is selected. The purchase is made directly on the order form.

Commercial purchases/purchases outside the EU

If the EU legal criteria for buy buttons do not apply, the buy button will be displayed directly on the order form without an additional order summary.

In the order form, you can set (Always above buy button) to display an order summary in any case.
