1. Log in to your Digistore24 account.
2. In the vendor view, open Settings > Custom domains.
3. Click Create new custom domain.
4. Enter your subdomain under Domain (e.g., www.yourshop.com).
5. Select a Default Product - the order form for this product will be displayed when the domain is accessed without a product path.
6. Define the Usage:
   • Only through me as the vendor
     Only you may promote the product via the custom domain.
   • Through all my affiliates and me
     All affiliates may use the domain.
     → Click Yes under Display in promolinks.
   • Through selected affiliates and me
     Only specific affiliates may use the domain.
     → Select the affiliates and click Yes under Display in promolinks.
   • Through me and all affiliates except selected
     Everyone may use the domain, except the affiliates you exclude.
     → Select the affiliates to exclude and click Yes under Display in promolinks.
   • As a redirect to domain
     Visitors are automatically redirected to another custom domain (e.g., after a rebranding).
     → Requirement: The target domain has already been set up.
7. Click Save.
   Digistore24 creates a DNS entry with the values Domain, Type, and Goal.

1. Log in to your domain's DNS provider (e.g., GoDaddy, IONOS, Namecheap).
2. Add a CNAME record:
   • Name/Host: www (or your chosen subdomain)
   • Type: CNAME
   • Target/Value: the displayed Digistore24 address (e.g., i32.cd.digistore24.com.)
3. Save the record. Activation can take up to 24 hours.

Tip

You can view your domain status at any time under Settings > Custom domains :

• In progress - Setup is running (max. 30 days)
• Failed - Setup not completed or DNS/SSL error
  → Click Check registration again.
• Valid - Domain is active and ready for use
• Error - Domain is no longer valid
  → Contact us at partners@digistore24.com.

If you use the promocode on your own pages for affiliate attribution, it must automatically adapt to your custom domain to ensure correct attribution.

1. In the vendor view, open Product setup > Affiliate tracking.
2. Under Select product, enable Automatically adjust domain in order form URLs.
   In the promocode displayed below, the line digistorePromocode( 123456 ); changes to digistorePromocode( { "product_id": 123456, "adjust_domain": true, "checkout_domain": "somedomain" } );. (123456 is a placeholder for the product ID, "somedomain" is a placeholder for your custom domain).
3. In the Websites field under Promocode domains, add all domains that you have included the promocode in.
4. Check your websites to ensure the embedded promo code includes these settings and adjust if necessary.

How to check your custom domain in the preview of the order form:

1. In the vendor view, open Product setup > Order forms.

2. Click on the pencil icon for an order form.

   The order form will be displayed.

3. Click Preview at the top right of the window.
4. Select the default product of the custom domain for the preview.
5. Select a language for the preview.

6. Click Preview.

   The order form for the default product is displayed under your custom domain.

How to test your custom domain in your browser:

1. Enter your custom domain in your browser’s address bar.

2. Confirm your input.

   The order form for the default product of your custom domain is displayed.

   If you have set a redirect to another custom domain, the order form is displayed under that other domain.

Tip

If your Digistore24 account has another approved product, you can extend the custom domain in the browser address bar with /product/[Product-ID] (replace [Product-ID] with the product ID of the other product).

The order form for the other product is displayed under this URL.

If you have set a redirect to another custom domain, this order form will also be automatically displayed under that other domain.

You can check your promolinks if you have activated Display in promolinks.

Check promolinks in the product

1. In the vendor view, open Product setup > Product configuration.
2. Click on the three-dot icon for a product.
3. Click Promolink & affiliate invitation link.
4. Check whether the promolink includes your custom domain.
5. Click on the promolink to copy it to the clipboard.

6. Paste the promolink into your browser’s address bar and confirm.

   The order form is displayed under your custom domain.

Check promolinks on the affiliate marketplace

1. In the vendor view, open Affiliates & partners > Marketplace.
2. Use the search to find your desired product.
3. Click on the promolink to copy it to the clipboard.

4. Paste the promolink into the search bar of your browser and confirm the entry.

   The order form is displayed under your custom domain.
