There are three affiliate links/advertising links on Digistore24 that affiliates can use to promote products.

An affiliate link directs a potential buyer to a vendor's funnel page, usually a sales page. If the potential buyer purchases the product, the affiliate receives an affiliate commission from the vendor.

Affiliate links include the affiliate's ID who is promoting the product. If a potential buyer clicks on an affiliate link, the included affiliate ID is passed to Digistore24. This is how the affiliate assignment occurs.

Promolink and Contentlink

Promolink and Contentlink are affiliate links provided by Digistore24 that work with cookies:

• The Promolink leads to the sales page stored in the product settings. This is the most commonly used affiliate link.
• The Contentlink leads to a funnel page other than the sales page stored in the product settings. This is useful if potential buyers should be directed to an alternative sales page or a preceding page with more information or alternative offers.

The Promocode is a reliable alternative to Promolink and Contentlink and works with JavaScript. For a page with a promocode, you can create your own affiliate links.
