The affiliate commission is a monetary compensation that affiliates receive from vendors if they contribute to the sale of the product through promotional activities.
For each brokered sale, the affiliate receives a separate affiliate commission. The more sales an affiliate can refer, the more money they earn in this way.
NoteAffiliates cannot broker products to themselves. If the buyer is also the affiliate of the sale, the affiliate commission is not granted.
NoteA prerequisite for determining the affiliate commission is the affiliate attribution.
The amount of the affiliate commission corresponds to the set value at the time of sale. If the vendor changes the amount of the affiliate commission in the product settings, it affects new sales registered from the time of the change. The vendor cannot retroactively change the affiliate commission for a sale.
