With the affiliate referral program, you have the opportunity to refer other affiliates for a vendor.

In return, you receive a referral commission set by the vendor for all sales referred by the affiliates you refer.

Example

You are a vendor and sell a product for €100 with an affiliate commission of 50%. You have an affiliate named Max, who promotes your product.

To get more affiliates, you activate the affiliate referral program, set a referral commission of 10% and send Max an invitation link.

Max sends this invitation link to his friend Erika, who is also an affiliate and now also promotes your product. Every time Erika successfully refers your product, Max, because he referred Erika, receives the 10% referral commission. The referral commission is deducted from your vendor share.

The shares are therefore divided as follows:

Gross price: €100

VAT 19%: €15.97

Digistore24 margin: €8.90

Affiliate share: €37.56

Referral commission: €3.76

Vendor share: €37.56 - €3.76 = €33.80

Refer affiliates for a vendor

The following requirements should be met so that you can refer affiliates for a vendor:

1. You can only refer other affiliates for the vendor and earn referral commissions if the vendor has activated the affiliate referral program. If you're unsure whether they have done this, simply get in touch with them.
2. You need an invitation link, which is provided by the vendor. You can send this invitation link to other affiliates. If they register with Digistore24 using this link, you will receive the referral commission set by the vendor.

If you have received an invitation link from the vendor, make sure that your Digistore24 ID is included instead of the placeholder AFFILIATE, e.g. https://www.digistore24.com/signup/12345/AFFILIATE

Make sure that your referred affiliates use the invitation link! You will only receive your referral commission if the new affiliates register via this invitation link. Therefore, make it clear to your referred affiliates that they should use this link to register.

View earnings from the affiliate referral program

1. In the affiliate view, go to Reports > Commissions.
2. For Commission type, select affiliate referral.
3. Click on Search. Now every commission you have generated as a result of referred sales from your referred affiliates will be listed. The total amount is above the table.

View referred affiliates

1. In the affiliate view, go to Account > Contracts.
2. Switch to the Affiliate Referral Commissions tab.
3. Scroll down to Affiliates who were referred by me. In the table below, all your referred affiliates are displayed on the far left-hand side as well as the affiliate who referred them along with their referral commission.
