With Zapier, you can automate many recurring processes, such as transferring order data to a Google spreadsheet. With just a few clicks, you can link Zapier and Digistore24. You can find a guide here.
How does Zapier work?
Zapier automatically receives so-called triggers from Digistore24.
These can be:
- A new e-ticket has been created, updated, or used.
- A new affiliate partner has been confirmed.
- A new order has been placed. A refund request has been made.
These triggers contain information that Zapier uses, prepares for other apps, and processes or forwards accordingly. A list of data forwarded by Digistore24 can be found in the table in the introductory article about IPN.
You alone decide to which other apps Zapier will forward this information. For example, you can set Zapier so that in the case of a new order, it automatically enters the customer's data into a Google spreadsheet.
In the above pattern, you have linked Digistore24 (= Trigger app) and Google Sheets (= Action app). Such a connection of multiple “apps” is called a Zap by Zapier.
