As a vendor, you can grant other Digistore24 accounts the permission to access your account. This feature is intended to be used in the following use cases:

• You have employees who perform specific tasks in your business, e.g. support or accounting.
• You have several accounts of your own, e.g. for various projects, and want to switch seamlessly between them or have a comprehensive overview of your company figures via a master account.

Account access - permissions and rights

Setting up account access allows you to grant permission to someone else to access your account. You can choose from already prepared permissions, e.g. delivery access.

Each permission comes with some predefined rights that determine which areas of your account the other account can access and what actions it can perform. You can adjust the predefined rights if necessary.

Below you'll find an overview of all the permissions along with their predefined rights:

Grant account access for another account

1. Go to Settings > Account access in the vendor view.
2. Click on the Grant account access button. The input form will be displayed.
3. Enter the Digistore24 ID of the accessing account in the Accessor field.
4. Select an appropriate option for the accessing account in the Permission field.
5. Optional: Enter a short description in the Note field. The note will be displayed in the overview table of the account accesses you have granted.
6. Optional: Click on No in the Active field if you want to grant account access but do not want to activate it yet.
7. Optional: Click on No in the 2FA required field if the accessing account is allowed to access your account without two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled.
   

   Attention
   2FA makes your account more secure. We do not recommend granting account access to someone without 2FA.  

8. Optional: Click on Yes in the Can use my 2FA device field and confirm that only you will be using the account by clicking on OK.
   

   Attention
   This field is only displayed if you have selected Full access or Master account in the Permission field. You should only activate it if you are the only one who will you use the account. If so, you can use one 2FA access across multiple accounts.  

9. Check the predefined rights of the selected permission under Permissions and adjust them accordingly if necessary.
   

   Note
   You cannot change the rights for certain permissions as they are meant for a specific use case.  

10. Click on Save.

Access another account

Account access has been granted for your account in another Digistore24 account. You can now access the other account using your own account.

To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Log into your Digistore24 account.
2. Click on View in the top left-hand corner of the title bar.
3. Select the Digistore24 ID (permission) view. This view allows you to access the other account.
   

   Note
   You will see the Digistore24 ID of the account you are accessing and the permission assigned to you by the other account, e.g. vendorexampleID (accounting).
