Digistore24 WordPress plugin and known issues

If you use other plugins on your WordPress site besides the Digistore24 WordPress plugin, the Digistore24 WordPress plugin may not work as expected.

Link Cloaking

When using upsells, the "Link Cloaking" plugin causes the [digistore_yes_url] and [digistore_no_url] placeholders to not be filled correctly which prevents upsells from working.

To fix the issue, proceed as follows:

  1. Click on Settings in the WordPress admin area.
  2. Click on Link cloaking.
  3. Copy the following line and paste it unchanged into the Exceptions field. 
    www.digistore24.com[digistore_yes_url][digistore_no_url]
  4. Save the changes.
  5. Test your complete upsell flow.

Better WP Security

The Better WP Security plugin can affect the forwarding to a thank you page. Disable the Prevent long URL strings setting in the plugin. This setting cuts off parts of the thank you page URL, causing the digital signature verification to fail.
