As a vendor, it is very important for your success to plan your product launch in great detail. We have compiled a checklist especially for you, so that you can start well prepared for the product launch.
Your employees
- Are your employees informed? Do they know exactly what to do during the launch?
- Are you sure that your employees will not be out of office (holidays, relocations, family events) during the launch?
- Do you have a technical contact person who can remedy any faults that occur during the launch 24/7?
Your server
- Will your server be accessible?
- Have you paid the bills for the domain and server?
- Will your server be able to handle the expected amount of traffic?
Your pages (sales page, thank you page)
- Is each page displayed correctly?
- Do the pages work on all possible browsers (Mac, PC, Linux etc.)?
- Are all graphics loaded correctly on the page?
- Do all links on the pages (especially the link to the order form) work?
- Are the right graphics, texts and links available on the page (no placeholder texts etc.)?
- Do you have a legal notice (legally speaking, this is very important)?
- Does the customer reach the product on the thank you page? Is it fully uploaded in its place (if necessary)?
- Has the production of the product actually been completed?
Digistore24
- Have your products been approved by the Digistore24 team?
- Do you know that if you are a new vendor, then the payout for high-priced products from 300 € will be delayed?
- Have you made test purchases?
- Were there any complications with the test purchase that you have not fixed yet?
- Are you sure that you have not accidentally set sales restrictions in the product details that might stop the sale at the wrong time?
- In the product properties, have you set the option Automatically accept affiliations to YES?
- Are you sure that you have set the right product price and group of buyers?
- Does the product price and warranty information match what you have set in the Digistore24 system?
Your email campaign
- Have you prepared and corrected your emails?
- Is the correct time for sending the message set?
- Did you send test emails to see what your emails look like?
- Do your emails have a good subject line?
In case you use Digimember
- Is the link to Digimember successful? This is best checked by a test purchase. Important questions here are: Has the customer data been correctly entered? Has the customer received their access details so they can log in properly?
In case you use Klick-Tipp
- Is the link to Klick-Tipp successful? This is best checked by a test purchase. An important question here is: Was the customer data properly entered and tagged?
- Have you checked your spam score?
If you work with affiliates
- Do your affiliates know exactly when your launch starts and ends?
- Have you supplied your affiliates with individual promotional emails?
- Do your affiliates know the specifics (rules) that they need to consider during the launch?
- Have you sufficiently motivated your affiliates?
- Do your affiliates know about any possible sales restrictions?
