Digistore24 asks vendors and affiliates to submit an IRS form (W-8BEN or W-9) in certain cases. This depends on things like the chosen payout method, the country of your address, and if you've earned $600 or more through Digistore24 Inc. in the past calendar year. This helps us follow US tax rules and make sure payouts are handled smoothly.

If we need the IRS form W-8BEN or W-9 from you, you will receive a notification in the dashboard and in the KPI tile Expected payouts.
Attention
We cannot send you any payouts until we have received all the necessary information from you.
IRS Form W-9
We will need an IRS Form W-9 from you if you meet any of these criteria:
- You earned $600 or more in the previous calendar year via Digistore24 US, Inc.
- You entered the USA as your address country in your account details and selected one of the following payout methods under Settings > Payout account, with the USA listed as the country for the chosen bank:
- US bank transfer (ACH – USA only)
- International bank transfer
IRS Form W-8BEN
We will need an IRS Form W-8BEN from you if any of the following apply:
- You earned $600 or more in the previous calendar year via Digistore24 US, Inc.
- You entered a country other than the USA as you address in your account details and selected one of the following payout methods under Settings > Payout account, with the USA listed as the country for the chosen bank:
- US bank transfer (ACH – USA only)
- International bank transfer
How to upload IRS Form W-8BEN or W-9
You can download IRS Form W-8BEN or W-9 directly from the IRS:
Please note
Make sure you fill out the form completely and sign it.
- In the Vendor view, go to Account > W-8BEN/W-9 tax information.
- Here you will be shown which form we need from you based on your settings.
- Click on Select file and upload the completed, signed form.
Click on Save.
Attention
IRS Form W-8BEN is only valid for 3 years from the time it is uploaded. After this time, it will be automatically deleted and you will have to upload it again.
Attention
Your uploaded IRS Form W-8BEN or W-9 will become invalid if you change any of these details:
- Name or company name
- Address
- Tax information
