You have already set up your affiliate referral program as a vendor. Now you can provide an invitation link for people without a Digistore24 account to register as an affiliate. You can also send the link to your existing affiliates so they can use it to recruit new affiliates.

Affiliates who recruit new affiliates for you in this manner are known as your recruiting partners. The new affiliates are called recruited affiliates.

This method is suitable for attracting as many recruiting partners as possible with the same settings.

If you only want to have selected affiliates as recruiting partners or set up individual referral commissions, you can manually add affiliates as recruiting partners.

Proceed as follows:

1. Go to Account > Contracts in the vendor view.
2. Switch to the Affiliate Referral Commissions tab.
3. In the Invite Affiliates section, select any number of products for which the invitation link should apply. The displayed invitation link will then adjust to the selection.
4. This is what you should choose depending on the use case:
   • Use the invitation link if you selected Yes for Automatically accept partnerships in the respective product settings for all selected products.
   • Use the protected invitation link if you selected No for Automatically accept partnerships in the product settings for at least one of the selected products. You would have to accept new affiliates manually for such products. The protected link includes a password, so these affiliates will be accepted automatically anyway.
5. Send the chosen invitation link to your affiliates, e.g. in an email campaign. Tell them to replace the AFFILIATE placeholder with their Digistore ID:

Everything is now ready. Your affiliates only need to share the invitation link with their target audiences to recruit new affiliates. They can treat the invitation link like a promolink, i.e. they can use all the same methods and tools to distribute it as they use to promote your products.

Your affiliates will only become recruiting partners if they can recruit at least one new affiliate. The person must register via the invitation link. Recruiting affiliates will only receive a referral commission if a referred affiliate successfully refers a product.
