On Digistore24, you not only have the chance to work with affiliates, but you can also enter into a partnership with one or more "vendor partners". For example, if you have developed a joint product together with other vendors, you can use this function to distribute the earnings automatically.

How to set up a joint venture:

1. In the vendor view, go to Account > Contracts.
2. Click on the button New Joint Venture.
3. In the window that opens, select the product you want to promote with your partner(s) and then click on OK.

   Important

   Joint ventures do not work for sales of an add-on product, but rather only for sales of the main product. If you offer the joint venture product as an add-on product, but have not created a joint venture partnership for the main product, then no commission will be assigned to your joint venture partner. In this case, use an affiliate partnership instead.

4. In the first window, you should enter the Digistore24 ID of the product manufacturer. This allows you to transfer the revenue of a product created on your account to another account. The share is calculated automatically as soon as you have entered the share of other partners (see step 5). You also need to determine who the manufacturer of the product is; this is important for tax reasons.
5. You can now enter the joint venture partner(s) in the following windows. The share you specify automatically determines the share the product manufacturer will receive. You also need to categorize the service: If you select "Help with product development" as the service, please read this note.
6. Finally, click on Save.
