Use WordPress

You can use the customer data entered during the initial purchase on your upsell page to create a personal salutation. To do this, Digistore24 passes the first and last name of the buyer as a GET parameter to your WordPress upsell page.

Proceed as follows:

1. Download the Digistore24 WordPress plugin and install it on your WordPress website.
2. Use the following placeholders:
   • [digistore_first_name] – the first name of the buyer
   • [digistore_last_name] – the last name of the buyer
   • [digistore_email] – the email address of the buyer
   • [digistore_initial_product_id] – the product ID of the initial product in the upsell flow

Example
Hello [digistore_first_name] [digistore_last_name]! Thank you for your order!

Use PHP

In the PHP code you can insert the name as follows:

Hello $_GET['digistore_first_name'], $_GET['digistore_last_name'];?>! Thank you for your order! 

 The following GET parameters are transferred:

• digistore_first_name – the first name of the buyer
• digistore_last_name – the last name of the buyer 
• digistore_email – the email address of the buyer 
• digistore_initial_product_id – the product ID of the initial sale
