Integrate upsell page

You can add your upsell pages to your Digistore24 products.

You have already set up your upsell flow and want to add your upsell page to the product. For general information, see the main article Upsells.  

Sell product individually or as an upsell

If your product can be sold both as an initial product and as an upsell, it requires both a sales page and an upsell page, as these pursue different marketing goals. For example, you can offer the product at a lower price in the upsell than in the initial sale. Digistore24 recognizes during the sales process whether the product is called as an initial product or as an upsell product and directs the customer to the appropriate page.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the vendor view, go to Product setup > Product configuration.
  2. Click on the pencil icon of your product to open it for editing.
  3. Go to Properties > Product information.
  4. In the Upsell page field, enter the URL path (the web address) of your upsell page.
  5. Click on Save to apply the changes.


Sell product as upsell only

If your product is an upsell-only product, use the upsell page as the sales page.

Proceed as follows:

  1. In the vendor view, go to Product setup > Product configuration.
  2. Click on the pencil icon of your product to open it for editing.
  3. Go to Properties > Product information.
  4. In the Sales page field, enter the URL path (the web address) of your upsell page. Ignore the Upsell page field below, it has no use in this case.
  5. Go to Properties > Sales limits.
  6. If you have selected the option Can ONLY be bought as an upgrade/downgrade/member offer or as an upsell (not individually) in the Upgrade/Downgrade/Upsell field, the Forward if not eligible field will be displayed below. In rare cases, a customer may land on the upsell page without having purchased the initial product. In this case, the customer is not eligible to buy the upsell-only product. To prevent the sales process from being interrupted, you can redirect the customer to an alternative address, e.g., the sales page of the initial product. You can enter the alternative address in this field.
  7. Click on Save to apply the changes.
