Find products to promote

The Digistore24 marketplace is where you'll find products that have been listed by vendors. You can promote these products and receive commissions for doing so.

Open the marketplace

  1. Log into your Digistore24 account.
  2. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.

Marketplace entries

When a vendor posts a product to the marketplace, a marketplace entry is created. The marketplace entries are displayed in a list.

A marketplace entry includes various details:

  • Headline, description, and product image
  • Various KPIs and product criteria
  • Links to the sales page as well as to the vendor's affiliate support page
  • The Promote now button, which you can click to request an affiliate partnership and the promolink for promoting the product
  • The marking NEW! if the marketplace entry was created within the last 90 days

Request promolink

You have discovered a marketplace entry with an appealing product. Now you want to promote the product. To promote it, you'll need the promolink of the product.

This is how to request a promolink:

Large display (e.g. computer, tablet)
  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on the Promote now button for a marketplace entry.

A request for an affiliate partnership is sent to the vendor.

As soon as the vendor accepts the request, the Copy promolink button will be displayed for the marketplace entry. You can use the promolink to promote the product.

Please note

Vendors have two ways of responding to affiliate partnership requests:

  • The request will be accepted automatically and the affiliate partnership will be established immediately. This is usually the case.
  • Vendors manually check the request. In this case, it may take some time for the partnership to be established.
Tip

You can view the status of your affiliate partnerships as well as the promolinks of accepted partnerships at any time. You can find out more about this here.  

Small display (e.g. smartphone)
  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on a marketplace entry.
  3. Click on the Promote now button.

Search for marketplace entries

You can quickly locate marketplace entries by searching for the name of a product or vendor.

How to search for marketplace entries:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Enter a name in the search field above the list.

Filter marketplace entries

Vendors classify their products into one or more product categories, e.g. personal development. You can filter according to these product categories. You also have other filter options at your disposal, e.g. payment methods, payment options, product price, commission type, or whether affiliate partnerships are automatically accepted.

How to filter marketplace entries:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. You can activate one or more entries for filtering in the sidebar.

The results list for the marketplace entries is filtered. The filters you have activated are listed below the search field.

Please note

If you want to remove activated filters, click on the x-icon below the search field of a filter or on Remove all filters.

Small display (e.g. smartphone)
  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on the filter icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. You can activate one or more entries for filtering.
  4. Click on the Display results button.

The results list for the marketplace entries is filtered. The filters you have activated are listed below the search field.

Please note

If you want to remove activated filters, click on the x-icon below the search field of a filter or on Remove all filters.

View KPIs of marketplace entries

You can view different KPIs for each marketplace entry. The KPIs provide you with a quick overview of the product and how it is performing.

Overview of KPIs
  • Price
  • Commission
    Your share of the vendor's earnings.
  • Net earnings/sale
    Your average earnings per sale including upsells.
  • Earnings/order form visitor
    Your average earnings per order form visitor.
  • Vendor
  • Online since
    The date the marketplace entry was created.
  • Payment methods
    Payment frequency (single payment, subscription, installment).
  • Cart conversion
    Share of visitors who access the order form and subsequently make a purchase.
  • Cancellation rate
    Share of returns and chargebacks.

Some KPIs are already shown in the list with the marketplace entries.

You can also open a detailed view for each marketplace entry. In the detailed view, you will find further KPIs as well as a product description.

How to open the detailed view of a marketplace entry:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on the arrow for a marketplace entry.

The marketplace entry will pop up. You will see the detailed view of the marketplace entry.

Small display (e.g. smartphone)
  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on a marketplace entry.

A new page will now open. You will see the detailed view of the marketplace entry.

If you want to return to the list, click on the x-icon in the bottom right-hand corner.

Sort marketplace entries

You can sort marketplace listings by specific KPIs and criteria, such as Cart conversion or Earnings/sale.

How to sort marketplace entries:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Select a sort option below the search field.

Bookmark marketplace entries

You can bookmark marketplace entries. This allows you to save the marketplace entries in a favorites list and access them quickly at any time.

How to bookmark marketplace entries:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on the symbol next to the headline of a marketplace entry.

How to access the bookmarks:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Click on the My favorites on the affiliate marketplace tab above the search field.

Change displayed currency for marketplace entries

You can set the currency in which marketplace entries should be displayed. The KPIs of the marketplace entries are then converted based on current exchange rates at the time.

How to change the displayed currency:

  1. Open the Marketplace menu item in the affiliate view.
  2. Select a currency below the search field.

Open the sales page and affiliate support page of marketplace entries

Marketplace entries have links to the vendor's sales page and affiliate support page listed so you can open them directly.

  • Sales page
    The vendor sells their product via the sales page. Have a close look at the sales page to get an idea of the product and the target audience.
  • Affiliate support page
    On the affiliate support page, the vendor provides information and advertising media for promoting the product, e.g. the promo code, email texts, or banners.

    Not every vendor has an affiliate support page. You can find more ways to get access to vendor advertising media here.
