Can I shorten my promolink?

Various online providers allow you to abbreviate a link into a short sequence of numbers and letters (known as link shorteners). Experience shows that shortened affiliate links work in most cases, although not always. Digistore24 cannot guarantee this, so you should test your shortened affiliate links, before you use them.

I can't find a certain product on the marketplace. Why?

Every vendor can decide for themselves whether they want to list the product on the marketplace. This is why you will only find products on the marketplace where vendors are looking for affiliates. If you cannot find the product you are looking for, you can also contact the vendor directly and request a partnership.

I have referred a product but have not yet received any money. Why?

We generally have four payout dates per month with different thresholds:

• Payouts starting at €50 are possible from the 7th of the month
• Payouts starting at €200 are possible from the 14th of the month
• Payouts starting at €200 are possible from the 21st of the month
• Payouts starting at €200 are possible from the 28th of the month

Under Reports > Commissions, you can see when the balance will be paid out for each commission in the „Payout on“ column (if you have reached the payout threshold).

I have referred a product but only received part of my money. Why?

Take into account the security deposit for all sales. In the tax and commission calculator, you can calculate how much money you can expect and when.

I have referred a product but have not yet received any commission. Why?

The affiliate assignment may fail for various reasons.

• The vendor has rejected the partnership (Error code AM17)

  As an affiliate, you will only receive commissions from vendors with whom you have a partnership. When a customer clicks on your affiliate link, a cookie is set, which Digistore24 uses to assign you as an affiliate. Upon purchase, Digistore24 checks whether you have a valid partnership with the product vendor. If the vendor has automatically or manually rejected your partnership request or the existing partnership with you, sales via your affiliate link will be blocked for seven days from that point and the customer will receive the error AM17 on the order form. After the blocking period has expired, the customer can purchase the product again, but you will not receive any commission for it.

• Another device was used for the purchase

  When a customer clicks on your affiliate link, a cookie is set that Digistore24 uses to recognize you as an affiliate. It may happen that the customer clicks on your affiliate link on one device, but then continues their purchase later on another device where no cookie has been set. • Your affiliate link has been overwritten

  When a customer clicks on your affiliate link, a cookie is set that Digistore24 uses to recognize you as an affiliate. It can happen that the customer does not buy immediately but clicks on the affiliate link of another affiliate in the meantime. A new cookie is then set for the affiliate and yours is overwritten because the last cookie set determines the affiliate for the purchase.
