After an upsell flow, the upsell order confirmation page is displayed, if specified. Here the customer sees a summary of their purchases and other information.

Set order confirmation page

Proceed as follows:

1. In the vendor view, go to Product setup > Product configuration.
2. Click on the three-dot icon for a product and then on Go to Conversion Cockpit.
3. Click on the Settings button.
4. In the After the upsell flow, direct buyers to... field, select the option ... a custom URL. The Upsell thank you page URL field is displayed.
5. Enter the URL path to the order confirmation page of your upsell flow there.
6. Click on the Save button.

Display order data with GET parameters

By using GET parameters you can retrieve order data of the purchase and display it on your order confirmation page.

Display order data on the order confirmation page

To add the GET parameters to the URL of your order confirmation page, proceed as follows:

1. In the vendor view, go to Product setup > Product configuration.
2. Click on the three-dot icon for a product and then on Go to Conversion Cockpit.
3. Click on the Settings button.
4. In the Attach order data as a GET parameter field, select one of the options described below.
5. Click on the Save button.

Display order data on the upsell sales page

To add the GET parameters to the URL of your upsell sales page, proceed as follows:

1. In the vendor view, go to Product setup > Product configuration.
2. Click on the three-dot icon for a product and then on Go to Conversion Cockpit.
3. Click on the Settings button.
4. In the Attach order data as a GET parameter field, select one of the options described below.
5. Click on the Save button.

Options

• No, use initial sale as a placeholder (default)

  Use placeholders on your thank you page and upsell order confirmation page to display initial product order details. (No order data of upsells or add-ons will be displayed).

• Yes, from the initial sale

  The order data of the initial sale is attached as a GET parameter to the URL of the upsell order confirmation page. (No order data of upsells or add-ons are attached).

• No, use the last sales step as a placeholder

  Use placeholders on your thank you page and upsell order confirmation page to display order details of the last upsell product offered. If the last upsell offer is rejected, no data is transferred to the placeholders and they remain empty.

• Yes, from the last sales step in the upsell flow

  The order details of the last upsell product offered are attached as GET parameters to the URL of the upsell order confirmation page. If the last upsell offer is rejected, no GET parameters are attached, even if there have been previous successful sales steps.

• Yes, from all sales (products and amounts only)

  Product IDs and amounts of all sales in the sales process (initial product, add-ons, upsells) are attached as GET parameters to the URL of the upsell order confirmation page. No other order data is transferred.

• Yes, from the initial sale + previous upsell step

  The order data of the initial sale and the last upsell product offered are attached as GET parameters to the URL of the page.

• No

  No GET parameters are attached to the URL of the page.

Placeholders for GET parameters

Use the following placeholders to retrieve the corresponding values.

Example:

www.thankyoupage.com/thankyou?order=[ORDER_ID]&land=[COUNTRY]

Placeholders must be written in capital letters.  

For upsell products, the respective upsell step is marked with a number. UPSELL_1 means the first upsell product, UPSELL_2 the second etc.

To output add-on products, a number is added to the end of the placeholder, which specifies the order of the add-on within the upsell step.
