A double purchase occurs when a customer encounters the same product multiple times in the same upsell sales process and buys it more than once. Double purchases can occur when the same product is stored multiple times as an upsell and/or downsell in the upsell process where double purchases are allowed.
Double purchases can be set individually for each upsell flow. Double purchases are prohibited by default. If the customer were to come across an upsell product again that they have already purchased in this sales process, they will be redirected to the next upsell page instead. If you want it to stay that way, you don't need to change anything.
To allow double purchases, proceed as follows:
- Log into your Digistore24 account.
- Go to Product setup > Product configuration in the vendor view.
- Click on the three-dot symbol for your initial product and then on Go to Conversion Cockpit.
- Click on Settings in the Conversion Cockpit. The upsell settings will now be displayed.
- Select No in the Avoid double purchases field.
- Click on Save.
