With a cross-upsell, two vendors can work together. One vendor can sell products from the other vendor as an upsell in its own sales process.

- You want to give authorization to sell
You know the Digistore24 ID of the vendor you want to authorize to sell your upsell products.
- You want to sell
Contact the vendor whose upsell product you want to sell and ask him to accept you as a cross-upsell partner. Send them your Digistore24 ID and this article.
Benefits of cross-upsells
- As a product provider, you authorize another vendor to sell your upsell products for a sales commission set by you to increase your sales.
- As a cross-upsell partner, you sell the product provider's upsell products to generate even more profits through sales commissions. You can also enrich your own upsell flow with meaningful products and fill gaps in your product portfolio to give your customers the best possible sales experience.
Give authorization
To authorize another vendor to sell your upsell products, proceed as follows:
- Open in the Vendor view Account > Contracts.
- Activate the Cross-Upsells tab. Here you can see all the vendors that are authorized to sell your upsell products and all the upsell products that you are authorized to sell.
- Click on the New cross upsell button.
- In the Cross-upsell partner field, enter the Digistore24 ID of the vendor that you want to authorize.
- In the Product ID field, select a product the cross-upsell partner is authorized to sell.
- In the Partner commission field, specify the amount that the cross-upsell partner receives every time the selected product is sold.
Select products
As a cross-upsell partner, when you select upsell products in the Conversion Cockpit, you will also be shown products from other vendors that you have been authorized to sell.
Commissions
- As a product provider, you determine the sales commission your cross-upsell partner receives for each cross-upsell product.
- The cross-upsell commission, like the affiliate commission, refers to the amount of money that remains after deducting the sales tax and the Digistore24 margin. The product provider is paid last.
- If you want, you can prevent affiliates of the initial product from receiving affiliate commission for your cross-upsell product. In this case, only the cross-upsell partner will receive a sales commission. Proceed as follows:
- Open in Vendor view Account > Products.
- Press the pen icon of a product to open it for editing.
- Go to Properties > Product information.
- In the Automatically accept affiliations field, select option No.
- Press Save to apply changes.
