aMember is a tool for managing member areas, email campaigns, and affiliates. You can connect aMember to Digistore24. As a result, data is transferred to aMember and can be used, e.g. to automatically add customers to an email distribution list and provide them with the access data for the purchased member area.

To connect aMember to Digistore24, you need to set up an IPN connection for the target system aMember in Digistore24.

Requirements

• You already have an aMember account.
• You have activated the "Rest API Module" in aMember.
• You have created a "Remote API" directory and thus generated an API key.
• You have activated all authorizations in the "Remote API" directory you created.

If you have not yet created a directory and therefore not generated an API key, you can find a guide on how to do this here.

Set up IPN connection

1. Log into your Digistore24 account.
2. Go to Settings > Integrations (IPN) in the vendor view.
3. Click on the Add new connection button. An overview of the connections is displayed.
4. Click on the aMember card. The input form will now open.
5. Enter a Name. This is only visible to you.
6. Select the products for which an IPN should be sent in the For products field.
7. Select whether an IPN should be sent even if the products are purchased as add-ons in the For add-ons field.
8. You can select the product languages for which an IPN should be sent in the For orders in these languages field.
9. Enter the aMember API key.
10. Enter the API products URL in the Notification URL field.

    For security reasons, you can only enter a URL with an SSL certificate. A URL with an SSL certificate begins with https://

    There are various ways to obtain an SSL certificate free of charge. For example, many web providers provide free and automatic setting up of an SSL certificate with LetsEncrypt. Contact your web provider for more information.

11. Enter the URL to the login page of your member area on aMember in the Member login URL field.
12. Enter the aMember product numbers in the Product assignment field for the corresponding Digistore24 products.
13. Select when to send an IPN in the IPN timing field.
14. Select whether the connection should be active immediately after saving in the Active field.
15. You can enter one or more email addresses in the Email address for error notification field. If there are errors in sending the IPN, you will be informed via these email addresses.
16. If you have created additional fields (master record fields/custom fields) in the target system: You can enter the names of the fields created in the target system to be filled with data submitted by Digistore24 in the Additional fields, Customers to Affiliates, Product, Address, and Amounts sections.
17. Click on the Save button. The IPN connection is now set up.

Note
Use the Test connection button to check whether the IPN connection you have set up works and IPNs are transferred to the target system. 

Tip

You can create multiple IPN connections for a target system to cover different use cases. Which use cases are possible and appropriate also depends on the target system.

Examples

• Data is to be transferred to multiple email lists or campaigns
• When a payment is made, the customer should be added to an email list, when a return is made, the customer should be removed from an email list
• For certain products, an IPN should only be sent for customer orders, and for other products, it should also be sent for affiliate partnerships

Set up a separate IPN connection for each use case for the respective target system.
